Florida Public Utilities – FPU provides natural gas, electric and propane throughout Florida. They provide propane in Hendry County and natural gas and propane in Broward and Palm Beach counties but do not currently provide services in Collier, Lee, Monroe or Miami-Dade counties.

Homestead Exemption – Collier County Property Appraiser. Filing grants you a property tax reduction of up to $50,000 from the assessed value of your dwelling. You must be a permanent resident of Florida as of January 1st of the year in which you apply for the exemption, but you can pre-file for the following year after March first of the current year.
